The Classical Academy at Village Green Elementary is the first of its kind in Miami-Dade County Public schools (M-DCPS) and brings a time honored approach to education that has shaped great thinkers for centuries. Classical education is rooted in the classical liberal arts tradition. In collaboration with the University of Florida’s Hamilton School of Classical and Civic Education™, the Classical Academy at Village Green, nurtures, intellectual curiosity, moral character, and a love for lifelong learning. The cultivation of wisdom, truth, and virtue is at the heart of our mission and shared purpose.
